Congaree Golf Club, located in Ridgeland, South Carolina, was designed by Tom Fazio and opened in 2017. The course features a sandbelt-style layout with firm, fast fairways and minimal rough, reminiscent of Australian courses. Congaree debuted as a PGA Tour venue with the 2021 Palmetto Championship and hosted the 2022 CJ Cup. Uniquely, the private club has only ever had two official members: its founders, Dan Friedkin and Bob McNair.
