Course Details
Shoal Creek Golf Course, located in Birmingham, Alabama, was designed by Jack Nicklaus, opening its doors in 1977. As the course approached its 40th anniversary, it underwent a major restoration. Nicklaus, alongside architect Jim Lipe, revisited every hole, revamping bunkers and reshaping greens. Shoal Creek has hosted the PGA Championship twice and, following the redesign, served as the venue for the 2018 U.S. Women’s Open.
